THE BEST HOLSTER I HAVE EVER CARRIED When I first heard about Remora holsters I though “no way, this can’t work”. I was able to get my holster (IWB for Glock 27) for around 15 dollars so I thought “ok, ill bite”. I ordered my holster and it was at my house (PA) in less than a week. I put it on and fell in love with the way it held my gun but i was still unsure about how it would do with no straps or anything securing it to my pants. I have been wearing it over a year now and it is hands down THE BEST HOLSTER I HAVE EVER CARRIED. I have carried a lot of different holsters, some costing me over $100. Nothing compare to Remora. I have told everyone I know about Remora and they have bought and have been just as happy. One of my best friends is a police officer and this is what he carries off duty. I can’t not say enough about how amazing this holster is. Buy and you will not be disappointed. By far the best out there. Hi, I have been carrying in remora holsters for many years now and have one for every one of my pistols that I may choose to carry on any given day. As much as I love and depend on my remora's, I am really impressed with your GEN.2 material. I find that it is much softer and more plyable as well as more comfortable against your skin and grips better to boote! My new GEN.2 is for my Steyr M9A1 and it carries it beautifully in the Appendix position.I just wanted to say thank you.
You guys really piss me off! Years ago, when I first got my ccw permit and began to carry daily, I stumbled across a Remora ad on the internet and ordered one of your iwb holsters. To my delight, it worked perfectly. Then, however, I got caught up in the never-ending search for the perfect holster. Now, years later, I sit here staring at a drawer full of worthless holsters that represent a king's ransom of expenditures that could have been avoided had you diligently included a caveat on your website. May I suggest that you ad the following to your website: "If you think you can find a holster that will be more functional, convenient, and economical, you are pissing in the wind". If I had read that on your website years ago, I would have saved enough money on holster purchases to retire early. Seriously, I just ordered another Remora holster for my S&W Shield. Keep up the good work.
I just ordered my third Remora for my Smith & Wesson Shield. I have been using Remoras for over 10 years to "house" my edc firearm. Like all of you out there, I also have a drawer full of discarded holsters that I have bought and rejected in my never-ending quest for the perfect holster. In my experience, the Remora is as close as you can get. I use and recommend the original iwb model with no clip. For those of you that have never tried a Remora, trust me, once you position the gun where you want it, it ain't gonna move. Moreover, there is absolutely nothing on the market that holds a handgun closer to the body and prints less. If you own more than one carry gun, you aren't constantly having to re-route your belt through different holsters. It is soft and, thus, is absolutely the most comfortable iwb holster you can buy. And it's so convenient. Just grab it, stuff it inside your waistband, and you're out the door. Now, I know what some of you out there are thinking: "Oh, Yeah! Well, what about the Sticky Holster? Ain't it the same?" No it's not. I also bought a Sticky Holster years ago so I could make the comparison. I've got nothing bad to say about the Sticky Holster. However, I prefer the Remora because the material Remora uses seems to provide a smidgen better grip and retention. I attribute the difference to the knobby surface Remora uses as compared to the smooth finish of the Sticky Holster. So, Folks, I urge you to give the Remora a try. You won't be disappointed. Furthermore, it won't knock a dent in your monthly budget like most of those other overpriced contraptions.
I admit it! I am dumb as a box of rocks! Twenty-four years of formal education including a doctorate, and I'm still struggling to be the man my dog thinks I am. After getting my ccw years ago, the very first holster I bought was a Remora. It worked perfectly and exceeding my expectations. Nevertheless, like the rest of you, I got caught up in the never-ending search for the perfect holster and soon had a huge box full of discarded and rejected holsters that I wore just long enough to remember that none of them worked as well as the Remora. Well, I did it again! Yesterday I received a new Kydex IWB holster that I suckered myself into ordering. Today, I wore it for the first time and guess what? You guessed it. The new holster is in the box and the Remora is back under my shirt. Moral of the story: There is no holster on this earth as comfortable and that holds your firearm closer to you body that a Remora. Period! End of discussion! If there is a legitimate criticism of the Remora, it is the retention argument. However, if your belt is snug enough, you have all the retention you need. Furthermore, ask yourself how often you find yourself standing on your head. Gee, makes me wonder how Wild Bill Hickcock survived so long without retention screws on his rig
I got my holster today. It is even better than I had imagined it would be. Very well made and so nicely designed. It is as though someone at Remora took my sidearm and used it at every step in the production process . Complete satisfaction with my order.
I just bought a 2nd gen holster for my LC9s. Out of the packaging it looked like there was no way it would fit well(don't judge it by looks). Upon putting my pistol in the holster I realized it fit perfectly. The new texturing stays in my pocket with every practice draw and stays exactly where I put it. I have used DeSantis, Sticky and Blackhawk pocket holsters; but, Remoras always come out on top. Thank you for the quality product at an even better price. Best overall value in holsters out there.
I've carried for over 10 years and had every type of holster you can imagine. Big, small, IWB, OWB, expensive, cheap (both quality and price), but the Remora 2 in 1 hit the mark. It functions great as an appendix carry rig for my p938 and because of the removable belt clip, it also works great for a pocket holster. The biggest differentiator is the actual material the holster is made out of... it'll stay where you put it. Zero travel and Zero concerns with retention. It's been my EDC for 3 weeks and don't see that changing any time soon. Thanks for the quality product and the fantastic customer service from Shannon.
